Dragons Dogma 2s Magic is nowhere near as awesome and cool and imoressive as this. Its cool...but feels scaled back in every way possible....same as the vocations...same as the enemy varieties. Love it...but if feels like taking a step back instead of the huge stepbfoward I thought it was going to be.

i love many things about DD2 but they really butchered the mage and sorcerer.

the magic in DD1 was so much better than in DD2, dark magic is completely missing too

just started playing i cant wait to get this stuff. The tornado is so badass. Using it with the mages lightning strike and high glicel will be the perfect storm.

This was the first game that the magician feels magician. There is no other game like it until today.

Do NOT get High Anodyne for your pawn. They will always cast the fully charged version which just means their only healing spell now takes twice as long to cast.

successfully summoning 3 maelstroms in an enclosed space and KILLING the boss is some of the most satisfying gameplay I've ever experienced. Praying DD2 keeps this same energy.

This game feels more like Dungeons and Dragons then tons of others that are based upon.

I always saw magic as it should be like the movie Bright. Having a Magic Wand is like have a Nucler Bomb. Will Smith cast a fireball at the climax which exploded into this giant mushroom cloud. It was awe inspiring.
